As soon as I learned I was an expectant mother, my quest for creating a welcoming environment for my baby girl began.
I was designing women’s clothing at the time and I was constantly searching for items that were both fun and functional. I wanted items that were as unique and as special as my baby would be. My baby deserves that, and so did I. So I set to work in creating something myself. For the love of fashion, for the love of baby, Lucky Jade was born.
What better keepsake to create than a baby’s blanket? First, I sought out the most luxurious fibers available. The distinctive feel of cashmere made it the perfect choice. We have now added bamboo to the mix, which also has an ultra-soft hand and is eco-friendly too! I then created designs in chic, modern patterns and colors to create Lucky Jade, a collection of “blankies” and clothing so soft and so cute, you can’t help but want to wrap yourself up in one. The only requirement—a love to curl up and get cozy.
